Subaru approached Bug when they wanted to launch an innovative and energetic marketing strategy, partnering with Cycling Australia, Orica GreenEdge, Australia’s first top tier tour level cycling team, Triathlon Australia, sponsored athletes, clubs, event managers and federations to support the massive growth in public participation events. Bug’s job was to leverage these partnerships and events, coming up with innovative ways to engage participants and audiences across the country and introduce them to the Subaru range of vehicles that so perfectly matched their active and healthy lifestyles. Subaru’s strategy was well supported within this community and new car releases received a great deal of support, positive media coverage, tremendous growth and awareness within its category.

Bug provided all associated event collateral including signage, adverts, event activations, merchandise, team and athlete sponsorship and management, event organiser liaison, photography, media and the groundbreaking Subaru athlete tracking app, the first of its kind in Australia.
